One in four Palma Airbnb listings is unlicensed, according to a PSOE de Palma study published 17 August 2026. The count lands as the opposition party demands Palma expel Airbnb and tear up its removal agreement with the Consell de Mallorca. No new rule takes effect this week. What changes is the scrutiny: every Palma host’s ETV licence number is about to be checked harder.
