Airbnb Host Fees Rise to 15.50% From October 13
The platform is moving to a flat 15.50% host service fee worldwide, replacing the variable 3-16% model. Here is what the change costs hosts per month and the two-month window to reprice.
OTA Policy Radar
Airbnb will increase its host service fee to 15.50% starting 13 October 2026, replacing the current variable structure where most hosts pay around 3% but some already face rates of 14-16%. For a host earning EUR 3,000 in monthly gross bookings, this shift could mean an extra EUR 45-375 in platform costs per month, depending on their current fee tier. The change applies globally and gives hosts roughly two months to adjust pricing and channel strategies before the higher rate bites.
