Andalusia Tourism Law Stalled, €600K Fines on Hold
Vox's Gavira killed the bill that would raise fines 6x and equalize rules for all tourist accommodation. The CEA employers' confederation pushes to revive it. 2027 is the earliest window.

Andalusia’s Sustainable Tourism Law (Ley de Turismo Sostenible), which would introduce fines up to €600,000 for non-compliant tourist accommodation, was buried when the May 2026 regional elections triggered dissolution of the Andalusian Parliament. The law must restart from scratch in the next legislative session. The earliest it could return is 2027 if the political balance shifts.
