Booking.com, Expedia Probe Fake Las Vegas Hotel Listings
Neither "Palette Las Vegas" nor "Collection O Las Vegas" is a real hotel. Expedia has suspended both listings and Booking.com is investigating, a live test of the verification and 24/7 monitoring the OTAs promise hosts.
OTA Policy Radar
Two fake Las Vegas hotel listings, “Palette Las Vegas” and “Collection O Las Vegas,” are under investigation by Booking.com and Expedia after social-media posts flagged that neither hotel operates, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported August 14. Both listings point to the OYO hotel-casino address and use altered or unidentifiable images.
