Dubai Shared Housing Rental Index Is Coming
Property managers should separate shared-housing pricing, contracts, and records now because Dubai's dedicated index and electronic register will add a second compliance reference.

Dubai’s Law No. (4) of 2026 creates a dedicated shared-housing rental index and an electronic Shared Housing Register (Khaleej Times, August 7, 2026). Dubai Land Department (DLD) will sit at the centre of the contract and pricing record system, so operators should separate shared-housing inventory from ordinary holiday-home records now. The law does not give a launch date for the index in the research available as of August 16, 2026.
