France has frozen the micro-BIC tax ceiling for non-classified furnished holiday lets at €15,000 through 2028, the first time the threshold has not been revalorised (Le Progrès, 10 August 2026). Classified meublés de tourisme and long-term furnished rentals both rose to €83,600. If you rent an unclassified short let, your simplified tax regime just narrowed while the classified route widened. SCALE Radars is tracking France’s rolling STR tax changes as they land.
