If you own an F or G rated unit, you could rent it again by signing a renovation contract before 2030. The Senate has voted; the National Assembly still has to pass it.

France’s Senate has voted to loosen the DPE rental ban, clearing the way for F and G rated “passoires thermiques” to be let out again. The condition: sign a renovation contract before 2030. It is not law yet. The Assemblée Nationale examines the bill this autumn and can still rewrite it.
