Lisbon RevPAR Falls 3.5% in H1 2026, the Lone Decline
Every other Portuguese region grew RevPAR in H1 2026. Lisbon's fell 3.5%, with local accommodation the weakest sub-segment: room revenue down 7.6% on 3.2% fewer guests. Price defensively for H2.
Market Pulse Radar
Lisbon was Portugal’s only region to lose RevPAR in the first half of 2026, while every other region grew, according to PÚBLICO’s H1 regional analysis (Aug 2026). The local-accommodation (AL) segment was the weakest part of the city’s market. For Lisbon operators, the second-half play is defensive pricing, not chasing last year’s rates.
