Competition Radar
Staycity Group is adding its seventh London site: a 350-room Wilde aparthotel at Morley House in Farringdon, near Holborn Viaduct. Hospitality & Catering News (3 November 2026) reports a joint venture worth more than 230m GBP, with Penta Real Estate holding 80% and Staycity 20%, and completion currently anticipated in 2029. Construction follows demolition of the existing office building, and Property Week (3 November 2026) says it is expected to begin “imminently”. None of the four pages we read gives rates or an opening day. For London operators this is a 2029 central-London supply marker, not a pricing event today.
