The Canary Islands Parliament approved the Ley de Agilización de Licencias Urbanísticas on 22 July 2026, and the text carries amendments that directly rewrite the operating rules for holiday-rental (VV) operators under LOSUTV, the regional tourist-use law. The reform was pushed through with votes from the four-party governing coalition (CC, PP, ASG, AHI), the rejection of PSOE and NC-bc, and an abstention from Vox.
