Florence Court Upholds EUR 480 Keybox Fine
The tribunale di Firenze rejected an appeal against a EUR 480 keybox fine on via Romana and ordered the device confiscated. The company's operational contact was held liable although she had not installed it.

The tribunale di Firenze has confirmed a EUR 480 sanction for a keybox fixed to the doorframe of a portone on via Romana and used for guest access to a short-let apartment. The reasons were deposited on 25 October and the Comune di Firenze announced the ruling on 27 October 2026. The court rejected the appeal against the city’s measure and ordered the device confiscated (Comune di Firenze, 27 Oct 2026).
