The French Senate voted on 8 July 2026 to adopt the “Projet de loi Relance et décentralisation du logement,” a housing-relaunch bill whose Article 6 would allow property owners to re-let F- and G-rated homes if they sign a renovation contract before 2030 (Selectra, July 2026). The vote passed in first reading. The bill now moves to the National Assembly in autumn 2026.
